Our Story

Simple food. Deep roots. Authentic flavour.

Aralikatte Cafe is a pure vegetarian South Indian cafe in Subramanyapura, Bengaluru, serving tiffins, dose, rice plates, filter coffee and tea from early morning to late night.

What we do

The kitchen keeps to what a South Indian kitchen does well. Idli and rava idli steamed through the morning, dose poured to order, pongal cooked with pepper and ghee, puliogre mixed with a dark tamarind paste.

Filter coffee and tea are the constants — decoction and hot milk for one, strong and milky for the other, poured by the tumbler from the first customer at six in the morning to the last one after midnight.

Where we are

We sit on 80 Feet Road where Banashankari 6th Stage meets Subramanyapura — a stretch of Bengaluru that starts moving early and does not slow down until night.

Families, office crowds, students and regulars from the layout all pass through the same counter. The cafe is built for that mix: quick when you need it, unhurried when you don't.

The first idli comes out of the steamer and the coffee filter is already full.

Tiffins, dose and rice plates stay on through the afternoon, not just at breakfast.
